The main advantage of digital cameras is the fact that you can take numerous photos and when the memory card fills up, you can unload it on your computer and continue taking pictures. Unfortunately, this means that your folders will be full of unsorted pictures, which may not look good, due to incorrect camera settings. SnapTouch addresses both of these issues. You can use this application to make various adjustments on your images and to organize them in one or more collections.

You can evaluate the software, free of charge, for a limited period of time. It can be installed fast, without any effort. Additionally, if you already have an activation key, you can use it to activate the product, during the installation procedure. The application is compatible with all modern Windows platforms and it does not ask for any additional tools.

You can explore your local folders, preview their contained images and adjust them, on the same user interface. It is also possible to import images from removable memory devices. After selecting a picture, you can choose what kind of adjustments to make, by clicking the appropriate options, which are located on a toolbar. The adjustment controls are displayed beneath the image's preview, where you can also find options for applying your settings on the selected image or on the entire collection.

In terms of image editing, SnapTouch supports various operations. You can rotate, crop and resize your images, enhance them and remove red eye effects. Additionally, the software allows you to time stamp your pictures, add comments and batch rename them. When you modify an image, SnapTouch will apply your settings on a copy, instead of the original file.

Selected pictures can be sent to a collection with a single click. Collections can be managed on the left side of the interface, on a different tab. You may create one or more collections, save them as single files on the hard drive and load them when you need to.

Pros

The software allows you to manage your photos and edit them on a single user interface. You can make a wide range of adjustments, stamp your pictures and batch rename them. All adjustments are applied on copies of your pictures, so the originals will stay safe.

Cons

You can't import images from CDs or DVDs. If you have too many images that need to be adjusted, you can use SnapTouch to optimize and organize them without any effort.
